About the NSC
- The NSC is an organized focal point for
local riders to get together, regardless of experience,
where they can share and learn from one another, in a safe
atmosphere that is indicative to two primary things: riding
sportbikes, and having a good time. Summer rides often attract
20+ sportbikers from pretty much all manufactures. Some day
rides cover over 400+ miles. With noting but fun, twisties,
and camaraderie. We ride every Sunday from the first
weekend in April until the weather turns cold again.
-
Join the Club - Beyond just
battle scars and bragging rights, members get access to member
only parts of our website and some local retailers have been
nice enough to extend discounts to our members. Being a member
of the NSC is also a great way to meet other sportbike
enthusiasts in the area.

Rider Safety
- We here at the Nevada Sportbike Club would
like to emphasize the need for safe and responsible riding on
the Club Rides. This section of the site is directed towards
riders of all skill levels. While much of this content should be
a review for veteran riders, new riders should take these
lessons to heart.
- Club Rules
- If you wish to participate in any Club Ride,
Club Event, or any activity sponsored by the NSC, you may
not, at any time, endanger the health, safety or welfare of any
other rider or participant. Period.
- Emergency
Contact Information - We at the Nevada Sportbike Club hope to never have to use this information, however accidents do happen. Please do not take this as a sign that we encourage or condone reckless or unsafe riding.
Our goal is to offer a fun filled day of riding and camaraderie. If at any time you feel that someone has put you, or another rider, at risk please inform one of our ride leaders. Ride leaders can be distinguished by chrome NSC symbol stickers on their bikes.
- Turning a motorcycle - The principles of
counter steering are often times misunderstood by motorcyclists.
Many people made the transition from bicycle to motorcycle, and
use the same technique to turn both. Unfortunately, the skills
developed on the bicycle are largely subconscious, and when
emergency situations arise, motorcyclists can make mistakes.
Please take a moment to review this information and practice as
appropriate.
