Hey guys, don't knock Jerry's golf game you can't ride every Sunday. =) I'm gonna miss my first Johns ride in 9 years due to extenuating circumstances . Hope to see u guys mid June.

Took a ride down VC and Giger. Giger is dirty with sections of recently repaved road (and some gravel) on the road.

Next week I wont be riding as I will be out at the race track. The ride is Blairsden though so it should be short, sweet and simple.
On a side note, if anyone is going out to the track and needs help or anything ill be more than happy to help out. Ill only be out there Sunday as my girlfriend is graduating UNR on Sat, but if I can help out with anything let me know!

I will not be going to Ice House as I am getting the bike ready for two days at the track next weekend. New tires today. Scrub in on Monitor Pass tomorrow.

You guys should definitely go. I just cant as i have to go to lunch with my mom. Its a pretty simple ride. there should be someone there who can lead, and worse comes to worse, ill try to bring a map of the ride. its pretty simple.

Ride should be leaving at 9am Sunday as there is a high of around 85, and it should be warm enough.
I will be in Carson for the ride, but I unfortunately wont be going to Ice House. It being Mothers Day I need to fulfill my duties as a son and take Mom and Grandma out to lunch. I will probably be doing Truck Route and or 6 mile canyon so i can be back early.

Great ride everyone. Besides the dirt section of 49 it was alot of fun.
Jerry your going to need to stop golfing and come ride more.

Ride this weekend is supposed to be for Gold Lake. Last time i was up there it was still closed. If that is still the case we may venture on down towards Downeyville and on that way. Should be fun.
This ride is also leaving at 9 as its supposed to be nice for now.

Not sure if im going to be able to be on the ride this week. Has a pretty bad fork seal leak and still haven't been able to repair it yet.

Andrew: Ha ha, no... That was for the week before, when we were supposed to go up to Iron Mountain. Ended up going up to Monitor Pass (which was closed at both ends) and having the best ride I can remember in a long time.
89/49 should be in good condition even though i haven't been on them yet. Might get a peak at 49 if we decide to scope out Gold Lake.

What a difference two weeks make. Had to go up high to cool off. The top of Monitor Pass was just right. This sure beats last year. Cold all the way to june. What the hell is with all the bugs. See you tomorrow. Kevin
